What We Publish
Lumivea covers nail looks and nothing else: seasonal ideas, comparisons of colours, shapes, finishes and placement, and references for planning a design. We publish inspiration and visual explanation. We do not publish treatment advice, procedural instruction, or professional nail services.
What We Claim, and What We Don’t
We describe what is visible in a design and explain the vocabulary around it. We do not claim to have tested a product unless an article says so explicitly, and we do not present a design as fixing or improving anything about how your hands look. Where a look depends on something we can’t verify — a specific polish, a particular technique — we say so rather than implying certainty.
We don’t invent credentials. Our writers are people who pay close attention to nail looks; we don’t describe them as medical professionals, certified technicians, or specialists unless that is genuinely true and relevant.
Imagery
We use photography, illustration, and AI-generated concept imagery. Where we know an image’s provenance we label it, and we don’t present an AI-generated concept as a photograph of real nails or as evidence that a technique works. Independence
Lumivea does not currently display advertising or participate in affiliate programmes, and no article currently contains an affiliate link. If that changes, we will disclose the relationship on the article itself, not only in our policies, and our editorial choices will continue to be made independently of any commercial relationship.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Write to contact@lumivea.xyz or use our contact form and tell us which article and what’s wrong. We correct factual errors in place. For a change that materially alters what an article says, we note the update rather than editing silently.
Updates to Older Articles
Lumivea previously published about hair and skincare. Those articles remain online so older links keep working, but they are no longer part of what we publish and are not maintained. They have not been re-reviewed against this policy.
